Exercise: 7km Run – MMCT (Ravens)

Woohoo, finally got past the 6km barrier. It’s been a bit of a struggle to get any further, mainly because I just haven’t been running very much and also because I haven’t made the time for it 😳

Running with Michelle over the last few weeks has re-ignited that spark I used to have with running. Admittedly I will never be a fast runner, but if I can just get back a little bit of speed so I’m running consistently at 6min pace I will be very happy 😀

It was a bit pea soupy when I walked out to the car this morning, but as we live in a dip, by the time I’d driven up the hill, it was clear!

The run itself was a good one. No knee niggles, and the calves and shins held up well, even though they’d had a bit of a pounding at karate last night!
