Exercise: 10.2km – Home to MMCT & return (Trigons)

Well I’ve finally found a little bit of my motivation. Don’t get me wrong though, it still took me over an hour to get myself out the door 🙄

It was a beautiful morning. The sun was shining, there weren’t too many people around and I actually felt like I had a bit of energy to run.

Unfortunately it didn’t take long for the little niggles to kick in. I ignored them for as long as I could (bad, bad, bad – I know!!!). I could feel my calf was pulling a bit and felt quite tight but I stopped and stretched a couple of times and it did seem to settle down.

So glad I ran this morning as it’s now looking horrible outside and there’s rain about!

Hubby and I are having a child free evening tonight. We’re going up to Crown to see Jim Davidson. He’s an English comedian who’s quite rude, but still very funny. We’re also staying the night in town so I may just hit the Casino for a flutter 😀

Kat Can Run – In response to your question about my waterproof jacket, I bought it in Rebel. The brand is Rainbird and it comes in a range of colours and sizes. I think you can also buy them in Anaconda.

Sassy – I did really well for the first 3 weeks. After that life kind of got in the way a little bit and I veered off course slightly 😳
I’m now back on course and planning my next 6 weeks worth of food intake, which needs to be looked at in detail as I’ve got 6 weeks worth of temp work coming up and I need to be prepared well in advance. Having worked at the same place last week, I know the temptations that are available to me (charity chocolate, restaurant, take away lattes, freshly made muffins daily etc) so I have to be focused and in control of my food.
