Exercise: Bodyweight Circuit B, Bike Intervals
On my way into the changing rooms at the gym this morning I passed 3 women who were on the ski type machine (sorry, no idea what the actual machine is called). Of course they were using it incorrectly, as do most of the women I see using them. They were all chatting to each other and seemed very happy and jovial
So how chuffed was I when I came out of the changing rooms to see one of the personal trainers showing them how to use the machine correctly. And how much of a giggle did I have when I saw that they were no longer chatting and giggling as they had to actually put a bit of effort into using the machines properly
What an absolutely fantastic day today. Clear blue skies and brilliant sunshine. I wish every winters day was the same as this

I see people at my gym on the exercise machines reading the paper, chatting away. You can’t be serious about exercise like that can you.

I have had the same thoughts. I saw a woman the other night on one of the recliner bikes(not sure of their official title) pedalling at about the pace of a snail while reading the Womans Day. Each to their own I know but I couldn’t help but think ‘why bother?’

ski machine = elliptical or nordic track ski machine?
recliner bike = recumbent bike ;D
i agree, if you can chat/be happy/jovial or reading the paper/magazines while you’re at the gym, then you’re not working hard enough!
